I guess I will just delve right in, it’s too quiet 🤫 in here. Who celebrates the Wheel of the Year? My family does. We have made Yule a biggie. We made wassail for the first time this year. I had to cut the recipe in half because my daughter and I were the only ones drinking it - the others are picky. They missed out. I can share the recipe if interested! We dry apple & orange slices beforehand and hang strings of them around to welcome back the sun 🌞 praise Helios! Pomanders are a fun tradition, as well as stringing cranberries and popcorn for the birds. There is the gift giving in the morning, we do have a tree. We bake all sorts of things including holiday cookies! In the evening we light our Yule log , each person makes a wish for the new year and lights a candle 🕯. Then we reflect on the year past. What about you?
