Heyo šŸ‘‹- it has been a while since I’ve posted, but I’m here just to share a few thoughts. Many people say they are from a long line of witches in their family. I believe many are, 😊. But I’m here to comment that as far as I know, there’s none in my family. At least not that I know of. And that’s okay. It doesn’t make me any less of a witch, nor does it mean that I am lacking in gifts. And it certainly doesn’t mean I’m not supposed to be here. Many new witches feel that because they are new to the Craft, and they don’t have that lineage, they don’t ā€œdeserveā€ to be learning. Confidence can waver. And oftentimes lack of close by witches, or ones that see they want their questions answered often ignore them, try to remain ā€œmysteriousā€, or charge them money to share information. The fact is Witchcraft practitioners are on the rise in high numbers here in the US. Views have changed for those that were taught it is evil, and devil worship. Men and women of all ages are feeling the call, and desiring to reconnect with the energies around them. The need for change, healing, taking charge and self empowerment has exploded! I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t worry if you don’t have witches in your lineage. I’ve never felt less than. I don’t feel any connection to Salem, or the Burning Times. I still study, learn new things, and strengthen my practice each day. You are just as important as everyone else. All of us have the right to be a witch.
